We start our journey in South Korea on Jeju Island. The island is famous for the Hallasan vulcano, female divers and caves formed by the lava from vulcano Hallasan. We begin our travels in the northern part of the island: Jeju City. Jeju City is known for being the most 'vibrant' city on Jeju Island with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. From this part of the island it's also possible to do the hike up to Hallasan Vulcano. There are different entrances you can take up to the mountain. We take the entrance on the westside of the mountain known as the Eorimok trail.

It's highly recommended to visit one of the so called 'vulcanic cones'. A populair one is "Oreum" situated near the village of Jeoji, on the west side of the island. It has a forest walkway and on an observatory on top.
The Forest of Torreyas(Bijarim Forest) is located 5.5km from Pyeongdae Elementary School, Pyeongdae-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si and it is the world’s largest single-species forest. It is a very unique forest where 2,800 Torreyas that are 500 - 800 years old block the sight of the sky, and it is the first forest park in Jeju Island. The forest is situated on the eastern side of the island.
